Up-and-coming collectives Brooklyn Loves UKG and OnlyFemmes are joining forces for a femme-forward night of UKG and bass-heavy sounds, featuring some of the most exciting names on the underground scene. Along with the residents from each collective - J.N.R., Lovelydaze and SHMOOKYY - we'll be joined by Unravel head honcho Gigi Rio, City Soul affiliate Remniqe, and rising star miss benji. Plus, we'll have live MC Lord of Ciphers accompanying with his improvised lyrical stylings all night, making this a special one you won't want to miss. Get your gun fingers up! Brooklyn Loves UKG is a collective and party series based out of Brooklyn, formed by close friends and musical confidants Lovelydaze and SHMOOKYY. Dedicated to bringing proper late night UK sounds, the party specializes in Garage, but will also venture into Jungle, Drum and Bass, and other adjacent genres. And sticking to one of the most essential, original elements of the true garage scene, the parties are held afloat by the hard work of their resident MC, Lord of Ciphers. Brooklyn Loves UKG hold a monthly residency at Our Wicked Lady and have also hosted shows at The Woodshop and Dead Letter No. 9, with other venues in their sights for the near future. OnlyFemmes is a Brooklyn-based, femme-led collective that puts on parties and community-building events that platform femme DJs of all gender identities. Our mission is to promote inclusivity, embrace radical acceptance, build meaningful relationships, and provide opportunities for marginalized folks in the music industry. With a roster of more than 25 artists who have contributed sets, and events at local mainstays like Jupiter Disco, TBA Brooklyn, and Bossa Nova Civic Club, OnlyFemmes creates safe, intentional spaces that let both established and emerging talents shine.
