For our second installment of CHUFFED, we've got a night planned for the bassmonsters out there. And as usual, we're keeping it 140. Opening the night we have EMMALINE, purveyor of cursed blends & Community Bread finalist for Fourth World. We aren't totally sure if it's chaotic good, neutral, or evil when she sticks a Killer Mike track on top of Amor Satyr. Come early, and decide for yourself. Following her will be David Lunch and Soft Reset head honcho Janus Rose where they'll be blending in their mutual loves (acid, big bass, prog) with where they diverge (dubstep, jersey club, footwork) in a combination we're calling "clubstep." Chaotic good? Chaotic evil? We'll find out on the dance floor. Next up is Sobolik, whose music would be upset if you tried to put it into a box. They've been soaring into the stratosphere with killer sets at Honcho, Fourth World, Nowadays & Public Records and don't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Expect squiggly wigglies, big bass & big breaks during the set of the Kindergarden Records mainstay. Anchoring the night is Shameless Deejay, fresh off a two year stint in Berlin and back where he belongs. Known for his party Cause & Effect which has featured the likes of PLO Man, Beige & Russell E.L. Butler, he'll be bringing you home with a smattering of acid, dub, house & techno (but will be properly slapped if he drops below 140).
