Fiber is a party that brings together music, food, dance, and solidarity at your favorite deep listening space. You can hear sounds that you don’t usually get to hear on the dancefloor: ambient and experimental musics, diasporic pop and folk musics, authorial productions, live performance, and more. There is a vintage 4-point Klipschorn system, comfortable seating and an intimate dancefloor, abundant high-vibrational homemade vegetarian food, and a back deck to get some fresh air, have a smoke, or watch the sunset. Our January party features Løt.te, Luwan, and Fuge. Løt.te is a multimedia artist, DJ and producer with releases on the Bunker as well as his own AI—F, a label releasing new music and sound works that explore the insidious uses of technology by oppressors. Luwan is a classically trained musician and DJ whose sinuous and energetic sets combine the wiggly and wobbly from all across the electronic music spectrum. Fiber resident Fuge plays underground experimental music from up and down the American continents.
